Looking for a clean 1984-1988 SR5 Gauge Cluster. Please post a picture and where you are. Preferably 1985.

I tried an 84 and it didn't work. I was told 85 is unique.

my 87 SR5 gauge cluster plugged right into my 85 4runner to replace the base cluster. and the current owner has told me it works fine for him.

Huh, maybe the last one I had was faulty. If I can find an 85 then cool.

I have an 85 (?) turbo cluster; it has 3 cracks in the clear plastic but they're not terrible. I plugged it into my 84 and everything works (except the tach) but I'm getting some AutoMeter gauges instead. In Colorado Springs, CO 80908

That's what I thought; I saw a cluster like this on ebay... guess the seller changed it on his truck?

Thank you. If you can get the tack to work, I'll keep my eye on you. You'll probably have to run a wire from the + terminal on the coil to a certain screw on the back of the cluster.

What is the mileage on the cluster?

changing the mileage on those clusters is insanely easy and you can't tell it was even done. lol
When i sold my 85, it had 2.3 miles on the cluster.

Would you care to explain? pm me about it so this thread don't get locked. I broke my cluster and just got a new one with 300,xxx more then my truck has I need to fix that.

if your truck is not wired for the tac there is a blue connector on the left side 2 wires go in to it. You need to wire the tac in to that plug. it's right next to the yellow wire with the green tracker. Number 7 slot.

Usps does not offer free insurance just so you know. Thats the only company I ship with because ups and fedex even dhl do not take care of packages and I've had plenty of things shipped by them come broken. They don't care about the insurance you have to prove it was really broken by them...
