Hello, noob here.  I live in Lehi Utah.  I've got an '81 shortbed (wish it were a longbed) on 33's, and a '01 TRD tacoma double-cab on 35's.  I've had a few older yotas in the past.  My goal is to build a truck like bigmike's dad, but with 37's and a little longer wheelbase (i'm looking for the right clean 1st gen longbed).  Not new to 4x4, just new to this forum.

:welcome: II  :turtle: You need 12 posts to make certain functions work here, that is your problem. Marlin's truck is a longbed it is just bobbed in the rear and I think Mike's is too.

Cool, thanks.  I was curious if any of them had the longer wheelbase.  If anyone knows of a super clean 1st gen (I know it's an oxymoron), let me know.

Does anyone know where BigMike's first build thread is?  I'd also love to see his dad's build thread.

one more quick question.  Has anyone converted a short bed to a long bed?  Will the suspension bolt up, or do the long-beds have a different frame?

Thanks Axled.  Does anyone have a writeup for converting a shortbed to a longbed?  I'd like to keep the bed clean.  Can I just buy a long bed and swap it out and move my susp back, or am I going to have issues with the frame?
