EJS 2010 vs. Cruise Moab?
« on: Jan 12, 2010, 09:58:08 PM »
I am trying to decide weither I want to go to Easter Jeep Safari or Cruise Moab.  EJS is at the beginning of April.  Cruise Moab is at the end.  I have never been to either.  What event will moab be more busy for?  I would think EJS.  What one will cost more?  I don't know how much EJS is but Cruise Moab is $175 for 4 days including camping.

I vote for Cruise Moab. It depends on what you like. EJS is SUPER busy, I remember there being like 50 rigs on every run, where CM, its around 20 max. EJS you'll see more stuff because of the media and its a much bigger event and the town will be way more packed. I know a lot of the Rising Sun TLCA guys and they throw a great event. This year it will be at Area BFE  which will be cool.

Will I have fun on 31's at Area BFE?  From what I have found on it there are mostly hard trails there.  Is that true?

You could do strike ravine & green day. www.areabfe.com or just sign up for the normal trail runs that they will have www.cruisemoab.com .

I want to, didn't get to go to Moab at all last year. I'll let you know if I can go.
