Bed Weight

Anyone have an idea of how much a bed should weigh on a 1980 Pickup(short-bed). The truck has stock leafs in the rear. I just want to get an idea of how much the flatbed i build should weigh

Just dont worry about the flatbed weight. You'll be aight! If its too :heavy:, just put some 1 tons springs in the rear.  :idiot: :rofl2:

about 150 pounds, give or take

most flatbeds are light, you'll probably need to add weight to it to get it to flex
