Sas, duals, iroks, lockers, and 5.29s, sliders, and you should be on a start to a crawler.

Depends on the terrain your running or type of wheeling your doing. You can do a lot with ifs, but it has its limitations.

I wouldn't wheel an IFS rig if someone paid me too.

Straight axle is stronger, flexs better, easier to setup, easier to repair when needed, if setup right rides much better, the list is endless.

If you want to keep your IFS get lots of spare parts and get real familar with tearing the front end apart and repairing it. :D

I would have to agree with GloNDark for the most part.  Go straight axle, especially if you plan on rock crawling it.  SAS, dual cases, lockers, rock sliders, high steer, and chromoly axle shafts are all pretty standard for a crawling rig.  Dont know what your budget is, but putting toyota rear leaf springs up front when doing the SAS is a cheap and well working way to do it. Also chevy 1/2 ton rear leaf springs in the rear of toyota are a cheap and good working mod.  search out all these items on this forum and you will find lots of info.
