HELP NEW TIMING CHAIN AND GUIDE

I'M CONVERTING MY EARLY 84 22R TO A DUEL CHAIN LIKE IT SHOULD BE BUT I THINK THE GUIDE BOLTS ARE WRONG, IT HAD A PLASTIC SINGLE ROW CHAIN GUIDE AND THE OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR ON THE CRANK SHAT LOOKS TO LONG NOW I NEED THIS TOGETHER ON SATURDAY

Did you get the shorter oil pump drive spline?  That is the only difference.

THANKS, I FIGURED I MISSED 1 OR 2 PARTS ARE YOU SURE THAT THE BOLLTS THAT HOLD THE GUIDES ON ARE THE SAME? :usa:

:gap: PROB SOLVED AUBURN TOYOTA WILL HAVE MY PARTS IN TOMORROW, I ORDERED KNEW GUIDE BOLTS BECAUSE THE DUAL CHAIN GUIDE BOLTS HAVE A DIFFERENT PART #

or you could have just ordered a timing k for a 20R :usa:

i could have but they dont come with t-guide bolts or a oil pump drive spline gear :beerchug:

Every kit I have bought (4 I think) plus the double roller set came with new bolts.  They all were the steel guide type if that made any difference.  I also had to find a spline seperately.  20.00 from Toyota.

just take your old chain gear and new chain gear and drive spline to a machine shop and have them shorten the drive spline shouldnt charge more than $10

as for bolts,  find a motor at the junkyard and just get some  oil pan bolts,  same bolt
