Sounds like a trip to the clay pits to do product testing....I'll let you know!

Ok, went a played a little bit yesterday at lunch in a couple holes and MT/R's suck in the mud. They don't clean themselves out very well and pack up quick. I was lucky I had enough momentum to get me through the last little bog. I was only in about 1-2 feet of slop and it wasn't that tacky either. Once I pulled out on to the highway it took a good 1-2 minutes of driving in rainy conditions to clean them out.

The sx,s measure on the low side of advertized measurments. I think a 38.5 sx actually measures 37" . Mine are bad :moon: in the mud and rocks. They side hill WAY better than my old boggers.

4wheel parts has some stats on the sx's and the 38.5 on a 15 rim measures as a 38.3 andthe 38.5 on a 16.5 rim is actually a full 38.5

yeah and mine don't really grip rocks to well but thats only when it is wet out.

Those tires in my post are my brand new 37" MTR's..

LOVE THEM!   they're awesome.. and weren't really that expensive.  Much better street manners then everything else i've ran.

hoping to get 'er out on some rocks soon though.  I'll let you know how they grip once i get 'er on the trail.

Before these i had a set of Goodyear MT's and they were awesome.

yea it'll be mainly seeing rock and snow. I usually stay away from the mud...

Last year i saw a guy running 37" MTRS on an 85 Toyota PU up at Fordyce and he was running threw DEEP snow without any problems.
