Topic: 83 summer truck

So I know most all of you have seen this truck my buddy austen owns it still and rolled it. He is giving me what little is left from the donor he bought and this truck so I can get it together and wheel it while my third gen is being swapped with tons.

I want it to sit at bout 23 to the frame on leaves with 39.5s Id like 22 but I don't think I can go that low.

So far the truck will have a 22r l52 toyota axles 5.29s 30 splines chromo rears arp studs armored and trussed all that good stuff high steer yada. I already have that stuff. I also Have some light force 170s for the headlights. I think i might rock a sheet metal dash but I'm not sure yet.
For suspension I will run 63s with a rediculous shackle angle to keep it low. Rears up front mixed with minimum arch. I still need to buy an adaptor another case drivelines I want to clean up the wiring harness. I also have to pick up my bender and start building stuff.

I'm going to dove the bed and get new fenders for the front.

First things first before the build though I'm finishing austens truck as its his DD so this build will probably start in a month or so. I might tinker on it here and there but not much ill have updates as I collect parts.

My buddy peter has a jmr bender and he's bringin it over to bend some tube not this weekend but next so ill buy some tube and let him play around build a bumper or something while im workin on matts truck and the next weekend I plan on starting the interior cage hopefully have everything bent and knotched in a day.

so looks like this trucks getting fully built with tons now... If I trade my third gen than ill be putting the one tons under this cab swap possibly and some other goodies. I am waiting for a t case to be pulled and im buying a 23 spline case with adaptor and putting duals in it.
