Which Bumper?
« on: Aug 20, 2009, 07:05:51 PM »
I have a 92 Toyota Pickup that is a daily driver with a 3"BL that I've just installed a SAS. Now I need a front winch bumper since i have removed my front receiver winch mount that is for sale. I can't make my mind up about what type of bumper I want and which one. I don't know if I want a plate bumper like a ARB or a Warn which I know I will have to modify. Ive also looked at MC's, TG's, and All Pro's but if I go with a tube bumper I will probably go with Addicted Offroad since the have a bumper designed for my truck with the 3"BL. So help me decide which one to go with and/or pros and cons.

For a DD i say the ARB or warn bumper. also, ditch the 3" body lift and grab the sawzall.  :twocents:
'99 SR5/TRD Tacoma w/5vzfe. SAS'd with 64" diamond axle (w/ long superset & ARB). about 5" of lift, 305/75 x16 BFG KM1's. Soon to come: 1.5" more lift (6.5"), 35 to 37" tire, undecided at this point., 63" F/F diamond rear, Marlin 4.7 tacobox.

My Addicted Off Road bumper is pretty nice!  I'd highly suggest it.

Don't mind the missing headlight, I broke that out on the previous trail run before I got the bumper

The approach angle is awesome!  I haven't hit it yet and I've taken it up some big ledges.  Also, I've trimmed my front fenders so the tube that wraps all the way around is now alittle long.  The bumper matches up perfect for those with uncut front fenders.
