The Rear Shackle Hanger Thread

It's time to bring back some organized tech to this place....

Let's see your custom Rear Shackle Hanger's

List Materials used, mounting location (front or back from stock), and results

and as always: :worthless:


Marlin Crawler Shackles
Custom Mount Made from .25 wall DOM tubing cut in to .25 wall 2" square tubing.
Welded inside frame upside down.
Hanger is located 5" back, 1.75" up.

Result: Lowered rear suspension 1.75", improved pinion angle.

Welded to a crossmember and mounted on the back...

i like it.. can you get a picture of the from the inside of the frame. I'm going to have to move the shackle back on my rig someday, and that looks better than welding it on the bottom.
