XRRA - Extreme Rock Racing
« on: Jul 26, 2008, 01:35:43 PM »
So I was doing some surfing today and I found the new XRRA sprot.   I think it would be cool if marlin came up with a team to compete in this new sport.  It looks like a really neat sport.  I didn't see any info on the sport here on marlin so I quess that this can be the XRRA page.

I think it has been around for a couple years now

im not sure if toyota stuff would be in a class with those kind of buggies. from what ive seen theyre usually pumped up v8s on 1 tons :dunno:

i tihnk marlin would want to stay toyota and that would very much liimit competition in that kind of event. but thats my :twocents: :dunno:

Since I've seen coverage of it at my last place, I'd hafta say more like 3 or 4.  It looks cool, but I agree toy parts probably couldn't hang.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

I've seen a couple of xrra events and there are some yota based rigs yota axles and 4cyls.     They can compete against those other rigs because v8's and 1 tons weigh a lot more.   Most of the competitors use moon buggies that are really small and can only fit 1 occupant.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
