What's up with the Marlin Board?
« on: Jul 19, 2008, 12:55:51 PM »
Just wondering what the deal is with the board being off for a couple days?

Seem's like it's been down more than usual lately. Updating server?

I'm just curious  :)

I don't know, but I was :shudder: without it.  I'm wondering if it's in any way related to the lag when typing and in page loads.

So why isn't the issue resolved with a better (higher capacity) server?

er... a server that can handle more people.

I was ok the time it went down because I was about ready to go to bed... fast foward to today and I was going all :screwy: I lost all motivation to work on my truck because I could not access my build thread or any of my resource threads on here and it was just all around bad. I was living on pirate but its just not the same as here. I am very happy the board is back up.

Pirate DOES NOT blow. Read some BillaVista tech articles sometime... they take MANY HOURS to read and are worth rereading more than once. There is so much to learn on Pirate, you just got to know where to look. yotatech blows.
