accumulator tank installation
« on: Feb 19, 2008, 04:13:37 PM »
I have an 85 4runner, any problems associated with mounting a 2.5 gallon tank along the frame rail withing a few inches of the exhaust pipe. Any other locations suggested?

Air tank is not much of a problem being next to exhaust but plastic or rubber airlines or other pieces that may melt will have a short life there.

O a air tank.
I would not put it near a heat source. But i would use metal braided lines or tubes.

see accumulator tank is usaly for oil
or in the hydro world  used 2 take out the surge in the hyrdo system ( half is charge with a inertgas)
