looking for 1st gen dash
« on: Nov 27, 2007, 12:33:07 PM »
I need the whole dash for a 1st gen pickup....I dont need the gauge cluster.  all the metal dash insides and plastic outsides.  mines trashed from the p/o of the truck.  it looks like someone stole the radio once upon a time and just hacked and ripped everything out.  Im looking for a complete dash that isnt damaged a whole lot...some cracks in stuff is normal.  after all, these are toyotas were dealing with!
let me know what you have!   :beerchug:
my dash is blue, but i dont care what color yours is.

thanks,
Tim

Not the best pics, but you get the idea.  I'll just post them here for now.  I have another center trim piece (houses the stereo and hvac stuff) the same color, not cut up, just not 100% sure if it's 79-81 or 82/82.  I'll have to check it out and get back to you, but if you want the one cut to fit the stereo I'll make you a good deal on the stereo if you want it.  Let me know if it'll work for you.

that looks great.  what is the part that isnt cut up? is it to hold a stereo or is it a different little cubby? I dont need a stereo, i have one.  if the part you have that isnt cut up is a little storage space id rather have that then the part cut for a stereo.  my stereo can go anywhere...i dont mind.  thanks for the pics, Ill probably buy it.

Might want to consider this.  Ive been trying to think of a way to use my dash cluster and adapt this diagram, haven't had the time to play around with it tho.
