my buddy's, BONER on here, his is a 305 w/ some "things" done... although its not quite a 350, it still broke countless toy trannies and a few case parts(inputs/outputs) and the only time it was romped on n :pokinit: broke was the case input.... all the other times were just drivin it... although it got hammered on a few times on the street....

but now its got an sm465/205 combo in it...

I am running a crate 350, turbo 350 tranny, stock axles with 4:56 gears and lockrights.  The gears are by genuine gear, and I have blown them up once.  I would definitely do the tranny conversion with the motor.  Oh yeah, I'm also running a doubler. :eyebrow: :driving:

yukons are the best gears available for the toyotas, those and precision gears....

genuine gears are soft, i would not run them in any application, ever....

www.longfieldsuperaxles.com for the birfields, best in the business, hands down

look into custom trussing the housing

Your million dollar check is in the mail.

Back that thing up with an auto trans it will be easier on the parts. Except for the birfields an 8" Toyota axle is as strong as a Dana 44.
