Toyota Knowlege Tests
« on: Jul 20, 2007, 02:36:35 PM »
Wouldn't it be cool if you could take a test that tell you how much you actually know about Toyotas? Maybe have a 1st gen, 2nd gen, etc... section that tests you on each generation of vehicle with seperate sections for drivetrain, suspension, and other mods related to offroading.

For example:

What is your crawl ratio if you have a W56, RF1A and a 4.10 rear?

A: What is a crawl ratio?
B: 37:1
C: 36.92:1
D: 37.2:1

What is a SAS?

A: Syncronized Automatic Shifting
B: Self Adjusting Suspension
C: Solid Axle Swap
D: Englands Special Forces?

I just think it would be cool in a multiple choice online format that got harder with each test you passed, going into really technical questions.

And you can't pass until you get every question right.

hmmm interesteing... is their a time constraint?

i didnt know the answer offhand to the first one, but i got the answer later on as C. i remember the forumula and think i looked up the numbers for said parts correctly. 1st gear in a w56 is 3.95 and i am pretty sure the tcase is 2.28 x 4.1 axle

second question is SAS solid axle swap C

I remembered the w56 first gear off the top of my head  :woohoo:

I need a life  :headshake:

sounds like a good idea though, would be cool to see the difference between what you think you know and what you really know
