*Edit*
Read your other post, you're just looking for ther pump correct?  I know the TC pumps are good stuff, and as CRS said on your other thread, they are a bit pricey.  However, The TG pump says it is "TC" style pump.  :dunno:  The way companies word things like that has never rubbed me the right way, not just TG.  If you're wanting a "TC" pump, I'd go through PSC motorsports.  A "TC" like pump, may lack some of the qualities you want.  :twocents:

trail gear sucks

Nice intelligent response! :shake_head:

The stock toy pump is not capable as is to support a hydro assist system and was never meant to support tires larger than 31". Knowing this with a little modification your toy pump can handle the duties of turning your larger than stock tires and push enough volume for those larger tires. A moddified stock pump will push more volume but the gains in pressure are minimal even after mods.
I keep an extra pump with my tow rig and keep an eye on my fluid level, but otherwise I feel the modded stock pump is worthy of use. I do get a bit of whine frome my modded pump and worry it may stop functioning at acceptabley one day.

As far as the trail gear pump is conscerned, I think it is overpriced, but I have no experiance nor do I plan to have at any time in the future. My money will go to a more competent company when the time is right.

thanks for the two useful posts.  I support Marlin and Trail Gear b/c they have both been great companies to deal with throughout my buildup.

I will look further into the TC pump and PSC.... although PSC's website sucks to navigate  :help:
