Topic: Putting a 3rd seat in 1st gen 4Runner

I have a family of 6 & the Runner only seats 5. I want to add a 3rd seat & all ready tried to fit a 1st gen bench seat but it was too wide with the stock roll bar that I need to keep in for now. I was thinking of using a back seat from a Jeep. I don't know anyone with a Jeep so I can't get measurements to see if it would fit. So if anyone can get some measurements for me that would help. Also if anyone has pic's that would help too.

Check out Infernals thread on The Macho Taco. I bet the seat he's using in the back might work for you.

Infernals looks good  but my Runner is a daily driver so some comfort is needed.

I know it's out there somewhere. I used to have a 93 bronco and I rember there being a company that made third seats for SUV's.  I'll go through my old mags and see if i could find the ad.
