I might be back in it..
« on: Feb 20, 2007, 09:43:09 PM »
As much as I hate having too many projects, I might have to pick up another Toyota.
Right now the Subaru is in peices, need to order some more parts and get that bad boy on the road again. That should be a trip.

Anyways now I have my Yamaha Kodiak 450 4x4 and I think I busted the rear hub, or something, in the snow when I was messin' around with it. Truth is, I would much rather have a truck than fix this ATV and keep riding it behind my buddy's yota's. So I put up a WTT thread on another site, and am looking for a solid axle truck that is trail ready.

Hopefully it goes well, and hopefully I am wheeling with you guys sometime...

Nope, just building it up for track duty this summer.
It's slowly getting to about 350whp caged and all.

It doesn't!
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

LOL, the Subaru isn't going to be a 1/4 mile car but a road course car. It has about another month left in my garage then it will be tuned with about 340whp on what the locals call the "heartbreaker" dyno up here in Seattle. I will find my camera charger and put up a few more pics later.

I think I might just finally build the mall crawler depending on how things go. I have been lightly wheeling it for the last year or so with minimal body damage. So far the damage is like rub marks from trees on all 4 fender flares, rock rash on the bumper, small dent in the rocker panel on the driver's side, a couple dents in the hood (someone jumped a fence at a party and landed square on the hood...) and misc. scratches and dings. Oh and the "mystery dent" on the rear hatch, have no idea how it got there. It still cleans up really nice.

I need to find a set of black rock crawlers for it, the stock 3rd gen wheels catch rocks and mud WAY too easily ruining the brakes very quickly.

Is anyone here really wheelin' the 3rd gen yet, or is it just a Yota Tech thing?
