computer interchangable?

just wonder what years of computer will work in a 1991 22-re manual trans truck?
91 toy truggy on h2 injection, hacked n chopped n locked n SAS'd rolling 36" IROKS........doubler comming soon

:dunno:  an '88 computer went into my '91 with no problem (3.0, manual trans)  so it should be good if you use a close year, with the same tranny.  Also, make sure its the same smog comp (CA vs. Fed)  :thumbs:

my 85 4x2 has 1 extra vacuum controller plug thing that my 84 4x4 doesnt... both carbed and both CA

Not my thread to update, but I believe he got the problem taken care of.  He got one from a local junkyard.
