i like my stick welder....its got a 100% duty cycle at 150 amps, I can weld most anything with it, change rod size and type quick, and 7018 fresh out the oven makes a damn good looking bead
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

learn to weld.....then buy a wirefeed, that way when someone hands over a welder you can do it, I prefer tig welding moly, or aluminum and stainless, but otherwise, I use a stick.....I have the mig for portability, biggest problem is duty cycle, I think I might have fried my mig.....I burnt wire for a half an hour strait, at full power....my poor little mig
