If the case is out of the truck. Find a place that you won't loose the pin and turn the tcase upsidedown and shake it till it falls out.

You don't want to leave it in there it could split the case or do some other damage.

Marlin and I did that to my case when he was helping me. it was a chore for us so I inderstand completely. You need to get it out for sure. It will :nuke: your gears if ti gets in there and it is only a matter of time. If it has gear oil in it, it may be faster to disassemble the case and get it out depending on your mechanic skillz

well, i had the case out of the buggy when i did the twin stick.  after 2 hours of wrestling it, i poured gas into into it, shook it, and dumped it.  (repeat 7 or 8 times)  i was just about to give up, when i moved the case and i heard something.  i flipped it one last time (expired time, 4 1/2 hours) and that stoopid little thing popped out.  i do not think i have ever been happier.  and, my tcase has never been so damn clean.
thanks, holley

p.s...marlin's new baseplates for his twin sicks are sooooo fresh.  they look cool as hell compared to the competition.

I had the little ball bearing fall off on me when I was putting my dual cases together.  I opened up the case and could not find it anywhere.  Took a lunch break and came back at it.  Looked at the drain plug and it was stuck to the magnet.

If you're lucky, just unscrew the drain plug and hope that it's there.  Otherwise, start tearing the t-case apart.

Glad to here you got it out.

I just hope the gas didn't damage your seals. Gas tends to swell rubber and then it shrinks and gets hard. You will know if it starts leaking.

Also make sure you let it dry out good so it don't flame out when it gets hot.  :ack:
