my truck got rearended earlier this weekend. And now I have oil leaks all over the place.
The car hit my rear tier. and threw me off the road. my frame is bent, and the housing is off by 3-4" to the left and front.
Now the problem is. that I need answears about.
1. My rear diff is leaking oil out off the pinion seal (donīt have a clocked breather.)
2. Both my t-cases are leaking oil they seam to be leaking oil everywhere they are bolted togeather.
I am guessing that the slip yoke in the drive shaft was pressed all the way togeather in the impact and hit both the diff and the t-cases
what is possible wrong ? and how much do I have to do to repair this. (just involving these 2 questions)
also what I know is wrong with the truck is there is either a broken axle or bearing in the rear left wheel. the housing seams to be bunted. (not sure about that tho.)
and probably something more when the repairing begins.
I am thinking about this cause off the insurances if they offer me a one payment and I repair it myself how much work and money is involved
