This time tomorrow I should have the base model for my dream truck on the road. Bout to finish the solid axle conversion, rear lift, regear and dual case install on my 90 dlx pickup. For me these upgrades are top of class, and I'm gonna run her like this till I catch up on bills that took the back seat to my dream build. My question to the more experienced builders is this, what are my next upgrades in order of necessity. I know this is likely a matter of opinion question, but what some options. I am running an aussie in rear, and wanna do a butch of gusseting.

Armor. Sliders and rear bumper/corner guard. That way it will stay looking nice.
Then keep wheeling it until you find a weak point. You will find its limits and know where to go next. Probably axles or horsepower. Or both.

Was feeling on top of the world for original post. That was short lived. The same day I completed the build I went and tested it out in the river, knocked a bunch of teeth of the brass rings in tranny. This weekend I'll be learning how to rebuild a gear box. Lucked out and traded a dog house for a rebuild 2wd tranny. Everything looks the same except output shaft has female spline. Guess it could be worse.

Made sliders right after installing locker. Could have used rear bumper in Hollister. Now thinking bout going flat bed. Gonna get 35x12.5r15 and run them on stock axles with new 5.29s till axles give. I know I just got a foot in the door but I think I got a good base to build on now.
