rear x-cab window installation.

im going from my slider window to a solid window on my x-cab. anyone done a rear window before? im not so sure how to take off my slider window and set in my solid one in :dunno: any advice on how to get the job done? thanks.

If you have a nice thick sturdy putty knife, or a wide based gasket scraper to use to pop it out from the outside, along with a friend pushing from the inside, just be carfull with it and don't apply to much pressure. 
When your pushing from the inside, apply as much pressure as you can to the out side perimeter so not to break the glass.  The windows will actually take allot of pressure and flex allot but don't push it. 
If you have a heat gun or hair dryer it will help to heat the window up so the sealent is softer.   Just use your head  :hammerhead:

so in otherwords, try and do it on a nice warm day in wich you can leave the seal out in the sun from the one going in as well as having the on it the truck as well. ill give it a try, hopefully i get it right the first time

if you use soapy water to help it slide out it helps, it also helps with install
