Axle Trouble in the 95` 4Runner
« on: Dec 22, 2005, 05:21:21 PM »
hey crawler-Freaks :usa:

we have here a little trouble in oure Toyo-4Runner and we don`t no if is a Axle trouble or steering :headscratch:  :headscratch:
okay we start the Runner and push the pedal...and always in 4wheel-drive mod the hole Runner lift about 4" in the front and steering go`s alone 3/4 turns to the left site.
If he stops pushing the front come`s down(4") and the steering turns also back to the right site... :shake_head:

The Runner is en 95`4Runner with IFS-Axle and steering...3" Bodylift and 33x12,5 MT Cepek with 10x15 rims

One of oure Thought is we have Problems with the Torsion Bar but we not sure :headscratch:  :shake_head:

If anybody has an Idear waths happen..............thanks befor

P,S........ the Axle  and the diff is korrect and here is a pic from the Runner

ok,  so when you mash the go accelerator in 4wd you are getting binding, and the entire 4runner springs up ??

this sounds like the front and rear are in different gears,  like someone put a different ring and pinion in one of them  :headscratch:

thats what it sounds like  ,  i bet the front was changed to like a 4.56 and the rear is a 410, or 4.30    so the rear tires are actually trying to push the front  causing a powerbraking type  feel to the suspension

Hi, i think you can help me.....what i need for change the IFS axle to a solid axle......i think there is not enough playground for the track rod, cross tie.....issn´t so?

your idea is to put the solid axle from 82 ´Hilux to the 95´Runner with 1KZT engine......with MC High Steer Kit (MC13570)

is this a good idea???or we get a problem with the oil pan???

help meeeeeeeeee!!!!!

awe shucks  :smooch:  um  ok,  i think you are wanting to put the 82 hilux front axle under the 95 runner,   yes  it will work with the marlin hysteer,   but you cant use the torque rod,  but the good news is you wont need the torque rod  since there is no bumbsteer with the Marlin  histeer
