I have an 89 pick up with the 22re and i just put a new motor in it and got every thing hooked but this one line. Its comes from the gas tank and its a rubber hose with a larger piece of hose around it to protect i guess, but i cant figurer out where its goes, any suggestions would be helpfull Thanks.

sounds like the breather, look on the filler neck for a connection

from my experiences there is a fuel return line that is in the front bay on the firewall on the passenger side on firewall that comes off the back of the fuel rail that comes off the motor this is a small rubber hose that connects to the return line on the fire wall up top there is one small tube/ pipe that this slips over and clamps down on and that goes to your gas tank
