What should I sell my motor for?
« on: Apr 28, 2005, 05:46:12 PM »
I'm considering parting my 87 but only if the motor, trany, an T-case sell first.  My question is whats the motor worth?  It's a carbed 22r with unknown miles.  Runs good but idles rough because of the carb.  Failed smog at idle by just a little bit.  Probably the carb.  Any way what should I ask for it?

S-E-X  :sly:
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

If I can get that much then I will part the truck.  Are these 85 and later motors more desirable?  Because I had two good running 22r motors out of 81s and could not sell them even for $50.  Took em to scrap metal when I moved.

The 85 motors were laser cut, there is a little Saturn shaped thing on the side.
