Do you need 4wd for your planned use, or just want it for added traction where you plan to go?
I've gone a few places where tractions been a nice-to-have, primarily snow + slope. I'd like to use this year round and all seasons.I also have alot of the spare parts from a previous samurai build with toyo axles so I thought I could transfer them into this.
I was thinking if you were just after extra traction for soft soil, an ARB would be an easier route, than a conversion, and for lower gearing just install a t-case, but if you are traveling on snowy roads with it, 4wd is the a better choice, if it doesn't become too top heavy with an SAS.
