putting a 2JZ-GTE in to my 94 Pickup with a W56 transmition and chain driven dual case set up with stock gears. I am looking for information on using the W56 trans with a w58 bellhousing. Is this a good combination to go with? I am going to be leaving the engine stock except for a set of cams no heavy boost. If so what clutch and flywheel would need to be used and are the input shafts from the W58 and W56 the same length? Is the W56 strong enough. Have also read about using a post 96 R150 V6 Tacoma trans with a Jz series R154 bellhousing and 1Jz clutch and flywheel . Guess the main question is what would be my best combination to go with?
