Does anyone know if you can swap a R150 input shaft into an AX15 transmission. They are closely related transmissions, and have the same first gear ratio......

Anyone???

Thanks for the link...that will get me started...

Though this involves a jeep transmission I am looking at using it in a Toyota to get the jeep transmission mounting pattern ( D300, atlas, Stak, etc)

From everything I have found its possible to either swap the tail housing and output back and forth OR perhaps swap the front input shaft. I think the jeep ax-15s are pretty easy to find and would let something with front dig compatibility bolt right up with minimal fuss.

I just put an AX-15 input in a R150 tranny and bolted it to a 4.0. So it should work the otherway too.

Any place to get the R150 input and counter shaft?
