Topic: 96 2wd tacoma 2.4 motor question?

I'm thinking of turning my 96 2wd drive extra cab to a 4wd
Does any one have done it before and what bell housing
Do I need to mate to a top shift transfer case from an 85
Runner. Any information would help. Thanks

You need to find a W series 4wd transmission. Try searching W56 , the 85's were W56-A or maybe Bs

To a top shifter from a 4 cylinder 22re transfercase. I have the 2.4 Tacoma motor and
