Engine wire harness
« on: Nov 13, 2014, 07:38:28 AM »
Has anyone on here used a stand alone harness for swapping a 3rz into there truck? I'm no wiring guru but these kits seem fairly simple and don't want to figure out how to wire a stock harness up to my trucks cut up wire harness.

Offroadsolitions make a direct swap in harness. As well as a stand alone. Call them they are super nice and can tell you what you got.
If you see it, its for sale.

That's one of the places I was looking at. I am more or less looking for someone outside the company that can give there use of the product. I feel that some times these company's are just trying to make the sale.

I used the ORS harness  for a 94 22re swap into a 80 toy for my dads truck. Been working flawlessly for 2yrs now. If you that helps.

I just swapped the entire Tacoma harness into my truck after of course removing the stock one. So my 1st Gen is 100% Tacoma harness. I did use the Tacoma, speedo, heater controls, wiper motor and tilt steering column.
