The Annual Marlin Forum Christmas Card Exchange for 2013!

Ummm........ Didn't happen.

My sincere apologies, as I feel like the slacker who let it drop.

A super awesome non-profit charity that is collecting money to bring junior-enlisted soldiers home for the holidays. They have been doing this since 2001, and exist solely on donations. As of this moment (and just since Veteran's Day!) they have collected almost $80k in donations, and have purchased tickets home for 100 soldiers! But they need over $15k more in donations, just to finish the ticket requests they have from other soldiers who can't afford to make it home to be with their families. I thought about it last month. But things gotten crazy here. Wife has been laid up recovering from a out patient procedure, and I've been busting my butt, with 10+ hours at work, and then helping take care of things at home.

Don't know Manzanita. I surfed at Agate when I lived there. I went to OSU and then Western Culinary. Lived in Corvallis, Scholls Ferry Beaverton, Couch St. between Sandy Hut and Lemongrass.

Wheeled the logging roads only...Probably illegally too.

I'm from Washington so I don't know much about Oregon. Manzanita is about 12 miles south of Cannon Beach.

Manzanita is just about 20 minutes north of me. It's in the shadow of NeahKahNie Mountain.
