3.4 Engine & parts ***SOLD***
« on: Jan 20, 2013, 11:50:30 AM »
I have a complete 3.4 motor, harness, computer, cluster, and steering column. Motor still has all accessories. It's out of a 2002 auto/pre-runner. I picked it up a couple years ago to do a swap into my 84. I'm not going to be able to get to it for quite a while so I'm putting it up for sale. I was told the motor had 190k on it, I have no way of confirming that. I pulled off the engine harness, accessories, and intake to clean the block up. I'm asking the same that I picked it up for, $500  $450 SOLD  . Located in Visalia/Tulare, CA. Between Fresno and Bakersfield.

I also have a HF shop crane that I'll sell with it for another $50, it's the older non folding version but it will still help with moving and installing the motor

Here I was thinking you had this done already. If you're not going to do this soon you must be thinking of something else, and you always have interesting ideas. Are you saying what the engine idea is?

I would still like to go with a 3.4 since I have some experience with this swap. But at the moment money, time, and space are not in my favor. Need some cash to help pay for wedding things.

Good luck with the sale. At that price I would jump on that in a heart beat, but I already bought 1 recently :D

No, it is the block w/harness, intake and MAF, power steering pump w/res, alternator,  AC comp, starter, fuse block, body harness, steering column, cluster,  auto ECM. That is all I got with the motor, the rest of the equipment was damaged and discarded from the donor truck so I was informed. Just trying to pass on the parts I got for what I got them for. This is not a complete swap, it would require the evap. equipment, stock air box, and fuel tank.

Do yo know if you can run the auto computer with a manual tranny bolted up to the motor or would it throw check engine lights?

I believe the comp would be looking for signals from the auto trans. You would need an ecm for a manual, especially if you're trying to make it CA legal and pass the ref

Last time it turned was when it was pulled, I was told it ran just before being pulled when I got it in August of 2011. I don't know the compression numbers

If I knew it was going to be bought and maybe some gas money, as long as someone had a hoist to lift it out of the back of my truck when I got there
