will the third fit in any 86-95 (?) rear axle? i think mine is an 87. how many miles are on the axle since having the 5.29s installed? were they set up by a shop? would you be willing to just ship the third and some small parts off it i need? thanks

The 3rd was set up by me. If my memory serves me correctly it has Precision Gears. If I had to guess on the miles they had on them probably around 6-8 thousand or less. I always ran diff breathers and changed the oil at 500 miles for the initial break in. From that point I changed the diff oil at least 2 or 3 times. I have never had any problems with the gear set and have ran them for years. I recently upgraded to a TRD E-locker setup or I would still be running these gears. I would consider separating the 3rd. But what other parts are you looking for of the axle?

I also welcome trades! I need some new or used shoes for the Yota. I would be willing to Trade and incorporate cash for the right deal. Looking for 36"37"38" radials withgood tread.

Well I have those laying around also. They would have to be pulled out of the axles. I currently have 3 3rds setup with 5.71 gears......one is open ....one is welded.....and one has a Front axle True Trac...any interest let me know.

Spacers are pending sale...if they fall through I will PM you..I should know by tommarrow.

Two of the 5.71s sold this morning to a local wheeler.. The set with the Detroit true trac seems to of chipped a tooth, so that one is for best offer at this point..The gears never made any scary noises but.....one tooth is definatly damaged..OBO
