Plans are to keep mostly stock and slowly restore to origanal. possible do 22re swap in the future. Make it my FishMaster truck..

SWEET!.  it looks pretty straight.  i saw a truck just like parked across the street from you on pike a few weeks ago.  is it the same one?

yes, got it for $1000, has like a 4 year old rebuilt 20r with only 16k on it, just had valves and carb adjusted. excited to build something so old..

Yeah, pretty good deal.  I love the old rare Hilux trucks.  I just sold an 81 2wd, but it's just not the same as the even more rare hilux like you have.  Let us know what kind of MPGs you get.

So I drove the truck all weekend, no problems other than my tires being under rated for all the weight I cary. I drove 15the miles to work this morning now it doesn't want to idle. Think I need to turn idle up and check vacuum lines. I think they had it turned way down to pass smog.
