Planning on getting a 10/22
« on: Apr 24, 2012, 07:48:01 PM »
Like it says, but i'm not sure what model to get. Its either gona Carbine and save the money for upgrades etc or the tactical with the bull barrel. Any suggestions?

If your gonna do upgrades, look into the 10/22T model.  Out of the box, with all the goodies you would install in a Carbine model.  My 10/22T will out shoot, and out perform the my carbine model.  From the factory.  And cheaper than building one.  I got a buddy that has over $1000 into his 10/22.  :yikes:

It's either that or you buy a carbine and fix it up.

Here's mine. I got it as a regular 10/22 from my dad when I was 8.

I have since then: sanded the bluing to expose the aluminum, put a Butler Creek fluted heacy barrel. Fajen Monty Carlo laminated stock, Redfield 3x9x40, and a Harris Bipod. I can shoot extremely impressive groups with it.
