v6 3rd in 8inch housing

quick question can i put a v6 3rd in a 8inch with stock shafts.

thanks :clap:. i have a complete v6 axle with 4.88 in it but it is out of a 4runner and i dont have a welder yet to make the brackets to put it under my 1st gen. i just got 4.88 gears for the front and i want to put it together and see how much of a different they make and ill put the v6 housing in latter probably next year.
