Heres the deal...
86 Toyo 4runner 4wd
It ran rough for a while and then sat for 6 months while i build the suspension and drive train.. After 6 months, i drove it and it died when i am slowing down... Happens a few times and the last time it happe. The motor blew... Motor blew was my fault due to no oil.. So i bought a legit 55k mi motor off a 2wd 87 toyo PU. Motor Was tested in full before it was swap and it was running great... Installed the motor a long with my original wiring 4x4 harness over to my truck.. Turn the key and it start up perfectly.. I was worry about taking it for drive that i jacked up the rear end and droved it in my garage and went through all the gears...
Code 11 blinked and found out it was for the IDL / TPS..
Test the TPS and all # were dead on.. Wasnt enough that i used the old one from blown motor and still, code 11... check all plugs and wiring harness from ECU and it good... Put in another ECU and same code 11.... Change distrubuter, same code 11...im not sure what else to do...
Motor will take 0.5 sec to start. When it stars it idles a little low and you can definitly hear it. I drive it while on jack stands and its smooth. BUT code 11 on comes on when i accelerate the pedal... If it just idles the its a code 1 (normal)...
Thinking about using 2wd harness if it fits??
Found out my ECU is "87" toyo 4runner....
Code 11 will not go away... Any suggestion would help....
