Google the make and model of the axle, maybe even use the serial number if you can, so you have some details to work with. Then if everthing is good, call Bobby Long and get some better internals.

Have fun   :beerwhack:

Why switch knuckles? Yall makin this guy spend too much money......If you want a kingpin then star out with a kingpin......If its Balljoint D60 like you first mentioned, Then put in some Dynatrac parts.......All the talk bout balljoint and no one even mentioned...Dynatrac axles are "BALLJOINT" plenty strong IMHO.....its nice to have the best available option that comes in a option like the kingpin, but that doesn't make a balljoint a junk axle/option........look at a d44......Theres no insults on their balljoints except the inners and joint strength...BUT if, i mean IF, they made a "kingpin d44 "(stock), I bet everyone would think the ball joint is no good..So please fellas.......

I f its a closed knuckle, then I'm sorry, no suggestions on upgrades if any....

Ball joints are fawking terrible period.  they can't hold up to sever abuse like a kingpin can and if you break a u joint on a balljoint axle there is a good chance the ears of the inner and outer will contact and the knuckle will get taken off by the balljoints being forced apart.  Seen it tooooo many times to think otherwise.  Yes there is a stock kingpin 44.  They used it in late 60's early 70's F250's I have a friend that owns one.  Kinda neat for a 44 at least.

If you'd have taken the .02 seconds to look at the pictures he linked to you'd see it's a closed knuckle axle and you'd have saved a good part of your pure genius post. ;)
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
