The Marlin crew is usually very active in the annual opening of the Dusy, if there was an issue we'd already have heard about this.

How long does it take to run the whole thing? Is it from point a to piont b or does it loop back to where it starts?

Its a through trail just like the rubicon. I believe its 10 miles longer than the con, give or take a mile or to. We usually stretch it out for 4 days just to hang out and go fishing.

I've done it in 3 days, im sure it can be done in 2. It would be a couple of long days.

I would google Shaver lake Ranger station, should be able to pull a phone number from there and call the ranger. That's what i did last year. The rangers are pretty cool and fairly accurate with information.

It's pretty much just like the rubicon, it can be done in a day but to enjoy the scenery a few days is alot better.
