« on: Dec 30, 2009, 10:15:45 AM »
I'm saleing  it because I need the money for tax. This is a 85 SR5 short bed, It has 230k miles on the truck, the motor is a 92.motor was rebuilt 2 years ago.Does not even leak a drop off oil any where. When I rebuilt it I use all new parts from Toyota, even the clutch and plate. The truck has never been wrecked befor.the only ding on it is on the front bumper and the right finder. the int. is in great shape except the dash, it has a cracked.
I has bucket heat and sliding rear window. This is a SR5 model so it's p/s a/c EFI 5-sp.tires are 31's BFG.
located in Elk Grove/ Sacramento    $3000.

Alright so my dad is interested in this truck but he is busy and I know way more about these trucks than he does so I will be the one to check it out. from your ad I really dont have any questions to ask you mechanically about the truck. but I would like to know some of the history of it, you said you are the 2nd owner, so how long have you had it, and has it been maintained well enough to be a daily driver? we live in Arnold and this will be my dads work truck so it probably wont leave the mountain very often but it will be driven around town everyday.

also i would like to see the interior of the truck.
Thanks

Thanks, my dad needs a truck, he is driving a little old tercel right now, which is good on gas but just too slow and tiny for him, and his other work truck is a huge 76 chevy 1 ton that get like 10 mpg. not so good for daily driving.  the more pics the better because he wont be seeing  it in person until its at the house.
