GIS TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter, to fill this position. The GIS Technician is accountable for digitizing and maintenance of service maps, schematics and data input for our Engineering Department as well as associated databases. This position is also called upon to complete field work using GPS and cable location equipment and assist the Engineers in office and field work.
Working experience in AutoCAD is required. Computer literacy, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office is a must. Proficiency with Access, or equivalent database applications, and GIS experience is desirable. Must be detailed oriented, thorough, and performs tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Previous telephony experience is a plus. Must also possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted CA DL. Salary commensurate with experience.
