Topic: differanc between a fj 60 front axle to an 85 truck axle

i have  a 94 truck that i want to sas i got this axle complete for dirt cheap and wanted to use it in the swap  just wanted to no what is different i cant get my hands on a complete truck axle to compare the only thing i no is the brakes are better on the 60 due that the are vented and but other than that I'm lost if you could give me some info that would be great thanks

I may be wrong but I believe the 60 axles are 58.5" WMS to WMS which would match the rear IFS axle perfectly. The have a 9" ring gear, and are c-clip axles. I think the carrier is a 2 pinion like the 4 cyl 8 inchers but I'm really not sure about that.
