Topic: Will Mini Truck Longfields fit in a FJ62 front axle

Hello all

     I have a chance to pick up some Longfields cheap but they are for a Mini truck axle. I have the 30 spline front axle and i know most of the Mini truck knuckle stuff will cross over I was just hoping some one could verrify if they would also fit the FJ62 axle.

Yep - '79-'85 mini-truck uses the same Birf as FJ60/62

Same birf but I believe the shafts are diffrent lengths. I know the 40"s are diffrent.

the cruiser stuff is only different 78 and back... 79 and up uses all the same length birfs.... the axles will be different length though

The long side of a fj60/62 is the same as the mini. The short side is 2" longer. Longfield makes a longer short side axle to run the 30 spline berfs

Yep again, Bobby Long makes the 60 inner needed for 30 spline birfs...
