new winch mount
« on: Sep 12, 2004, 04:28:26 PM »
hey guys, I'm back once again after another wonderful period in the hospital. I'm gonna start getting mail there, I swear. Anyway, before I started getting sick this time, I asked for some suggestions on a home made winch mount. I got some great suggestions, specially from the diahtsu dude and trash. Here is the finished(mostly!) mount/brush guard/trun signal enclousures etc. I took these pics today on Blue Mountian pass outside my home town, my first trip in the sawzota since last fall! Thanks again for the suggestions. I'm starting my rocksliders tonight. Hopefully I'll get most of my projects done before I check out, so I can will the sawzota to some lucky astard in semi-finished form. :)

Sorry to hear that you were sick enough to go to the hospital.  I adjusted the pics a little as they were dark...hope that's OK  Still can't see the bumper real well but that's quite a snorkle you've got going

I've got a skid pan in the works, to prevent the rock hang-up thing, cause yeah, it'll catch like crazy as is. I'll try to take some better pics tomorrow, if the sun decides to show up. SAS is planned for the winter project. I'm going to welding school starting in two weeks and I wanna wait until I finish, but please do keep hounding me about the SAS. I really need to"get it up" in front and I refuse to do an IFS lift. I've got 80% of the parts all ready to go.
