fiberglass hoods, scoops?

i searched, found a few things here, but no pics, no parts.


im looking for a fiberglass or steel  hood for the 84-88 runner/ pickups with a scoop or vent in it

just havnt seen anything yet.

so lets get the masses looking!!

im sure a source would result in mant happy toyota owners!

This is the only place I can up with. They dont have pictures of the 88 hoods on the site but maybe they can send you one that has a scoop.

There's alot of hood's with hood scoops for taco's, but just a few with cowl hoods.  Mostly fiberglass. 
I'd find somebody that is good with body work and try to mold one in the stock hood, but it might cost some.  :twocents:

I grafted the hood scoop from a 2000 4Runner sport onto my 89 hood.   Its not done yet though.   Toyota uses the same basic scoop design on many of their vehicles.   






I may do a complete writeup when it's all the way done.
