Topic: I'm tired!!

I've been busy lately.  We have 4 guys out on the injured list at work.  Out of a entire crew of 35.  So, we are shorthanded, and we got several guys that won't help with volunteering to do a little OT.  That and 5 new guys that don't know anything yet.  So, in the last 2 weeks I got in 30 hours of OT.  I'm beat.  Going in at 4:00 am and getting off at 3:40pm.     And only getting one day off for your weekend.  This may go on for maybe the next 3 weeks!  I hope not!    The $ is nice, but sleep and family is nicer.

Also, trying to get firewood cut and staked.  And build a green house for fresh vegetables this summer to help cut some of our grocery bill.

WOW thats a lot going on!

I get up at 5:00 and am at school by 6:00, then I am at school until 3:00, then from 3:30 to 6:30 I am at work. After that, I go home and usually have at least 2 hours of homework to do, plus I need to get my Marlin forum time in, then I try to go to sleep by 10:00, but usually I don't get to sleep until 12:00 or 1:00. I do this for 5 days, then during the weekend, on saturday, I go to school from 10:00 to 5:00 or 6:00. On Sunday I sleep for 14-16 hours, haha. Then I try to work on the two toys as much as I can during the weekend.

So I guess I am pretty tired too. Plus I don't get payed for all the schooling I do... if they were to pay me to go to school, I would just live there, haha.

thats rough Cheesy    but at least if its only for a few weeks, you've got some to spend on the family (and the toyota ) that you love

It'll help with some medical bills that have come in.  And what's left will go towards the money market.  Our union contract is up June 1st.

Any rumors on what to expect from the contract negotiations?  Hope all goes good    but if not, the extra $$ now will be appreciated then for sure.  Meantime, hang in there best you can, with luck you'll get some guys coming back to work and some FNGs will start learning faster...
