drivelines/flatbelly?
« on: Mar 23, 2008, 10:25:45 PM »
Does anyone know wheres the best place to get a one piece rear driveshaft for an 85 yota? I was thinking Arizona drivelines, or high angle drivelines, but i cannot seem to find the one pieces any help would be appreciated. its a daily driver and wheeler
arizona drivelines say 375 for the 40 degree ones, and 245 for the reg, which am not sure is a one piece, and on high angle driveline, it just shows the expesine ones, please help.
I want to do a drivetrain lift of at least 3'' for my flat belly. I would also have to get motor mount spacers from 4crawler. as anyone used is spacers before to make a flat belly, i know you have to have a body lift too. thanks.

You don't need motormount spacers with a flat belly.  Loosen the nuts holding the engine brackets to the mounts, raise the transfercase and trans then tighten them again.  Easy as that.

if you want a one piece just measure from the transfercase output to the pinion and order that length. any driveline shop should be able to do it. if you want it stronger go with 16 gauge steel. you shouldnt need a long slip in the rear either. but longview driveshafts, tom woods, high angle drivelines are all good choices.
